I've been very happy with my Hostgator shared baby plan for years now. I have not used A Small Orange but have heard good things about them.

I host 9 websites on my baby plan and haven't had any problems. As with any shared hosting plan there are CPU/resource limits which I have not experienced. How many visitors at one exact time do you except to be on your website(s)?

i am looking for a host that can deal with around the 20-50 visitors on the same time / around the 1000+ daily visitors..
do you think it can handle with it ?

    That shouldn't be an issue.

I too use hostgator baby plan and hosting there 4 phpld directories and 9 blogs and i have not seen any performance issue. Their helpdesk (chat) is very good too and I had very good experience dealing with them.

I have used hostgator.com for a few years and am as happy with their hosting service and also their sales and tech support. I also have never had any issues with website speeds or downtime from their end, however, my websites don't have a huge amount of traffic. I haven't tried asmallorange.com either but I'm personally heard great things about them.

I'm with ASmallOrange more than 3 years already and I'm a happy customer. Besides ASO, I also use Bluehost.

Hostgator seems to be a good choice as well - it is popular here on DP between many members.

BTW, if you decide to go with ASmallOrange, feel free to use my coupons: ASmallOrange coupons

Yes, I have some phpLD directories that have been hosted with hostgator for years without any issues. The applies to Site5 and Arvixe and Servint.

How, this is an old one... I will update this post: after i asked here.. well actually i made a try to use both hostgator and a Small orange and some other hostings also.. it was a while ago.. and.. well Hostgator is really great.. still using my account there, thinking to start using VPS hosting soon...

By the way any of you have tried to use "Micfo" or "WestHost" hostings? any suggestions from your experience?
