Would it be more helpful for better SEO or SERP by adding some images to a site? My question is: Do major search engines more like sites have some images with? Thanks Regards,
It's an advantage to have as many different types of content as you reasonably can - it gives you more of a chance to show up for different types of searches, and now that Google favours 'universal search', image and video results often appear on the main serps page.
I don't think having images will really affect your rankings in the organic SERPs. But it's a MUCH better user experience to have "rich" pages, will typically help keep users on your site longer, and could lead to more conversions. And as the previous poster said, it may increase your traffic from other sources like image search. Personally, I think text only sites are really boring and look less professional. Therefore, I'm more likely to hit the back button and select a different result when I stumble onto a text only site in the SERPs.
Yes, some search engines will give you more keyword authority if your site is properly optimized with images. When adding an image to your site, try to optimize everything about it.... You can add an Alt Tag to the image with your keyword in it...... and/or add a caption with your keyword.... Good Luck!
images makes difference, always use alt tag for the images, all search engines reads the alt tag and uses that keywords.
well, when you talk about images then its not about SEO only, its about better user experience too, sites without images look really dull and dumb.
