A site built for traffic and adsense earnings

I'm still building the site but I'm sure it will work very well for traffic and adsense earnings if google doesn't penalize it for some reason.

What I did was to create a future news part in my site, so that i will have content since several weeks already that becomes current news today, very good for traffic, no?

Also the other part of my site is about lost & found properties, you know, listing a missing object or a found item.. For this sort of content, which will be rare on the site since it depends on real people listing their stuff, I'm targeting the search queries [location] [month, year] [name of item]

Anyway, don't you also believe that this site can't fail to bring in traffic? Well, only if google doesn't do its job of sending visitors :)

For the adsense part, what I did to optimize adsense earnings for the same traffic is to have only 3 text ads (1 in each 234x60 adsense block) and located in a prime spot that will be clicked the most.
That means only the 3 ads with the highest ecpm will be displayed for the topic of the page. The best possible earnings with adsense for this type of content.

yes, I will post it in DP reviews forums when it will be ready but it is already working mainly, with fake content at the moment, I will remove my fake content before launch, but at the moment helps me visualize how the site should work once with real content. http://www.juiuj.com

Drupal power at it's best. Wonderful site James. All the best. Theme looks fine. First thing touches the eye is the AdBlock. Ad against theme excellent. If you can reduce number of java scripts in the front page, it will significantly increase page load time.

    Again congrats for another masterpiece.

For the theme if you're into drupal, I'd say I have finally found what I always wanted, a stable and flexible theme that I could use always when starting a new site, well I've found it, the name is mix and match, look for it I'll probably migrate some other sites I have to this theme as it is really reliable and so flexible. I'm really not into any css customization and this theme is perfect for that, it has a lot of color presets, so if you're not strict on color tones (I'm not) then it is perfect you say blue and it puts some kind of blue, good enough to me!
Thank you for your advise, I will look at reducing number of files and into caching pages, at the moment the caching is light because I need for testing.

Hi, no unfortunately English is not my first language :)
The site is just to list lost things, if people want.

I was talking about the nature of future news for potential traffic and also the minimum adsense for higher ecpm

James can you create a thread and give some advice like what kind of service sites can be created. There will be service providers and seekers, our role will only to manage the software :)

Niche varies, so that does not matter. But I am just clueless at this moment. I am running blog and running a forum and a technical site quite successfully ( i think so :) )

Just need some advices about what type of service sites can be started. Of course they should not be plenty! How about a "Sale Inversion". So many innovators dont get any exposure, just give them a platform and call on purchaser. Big gaints are always ready. Just one of 1000000 thouths. :) I would appreciate your precious input.

Thanks . You are inspiring me like hell man!

    Something like Seeker--->Software<--------Giver

Like what you are doing with lost found stuff.

A site that is not run on articles! Like matrimony sites, and stuff like that!

so the site will just be the medium between service provider and seeker!
    :)

To try future news you can post something happening in about 2 weeks, the problem of course is that the site being new, google will make some troubles at first, normal.
In the user menu for people posting future news, I added handy links to resources which talk about future events and seasonal events, so it's easy to get into the mindset of writing about topics for the near future.

Rupam about ideas of sites, i think there are many many things one can do, it's just a matter of having time or outsourcing to do them. What is most important I think is that since we are individuals, not companies, we need our sites to give extra incentive to people to publish on the site. For instance if we do a video sharing site, we can't afford not to have an extra incentive (for instance: post 10 videos and win $100) because otherwise why would people want to use our site instead of another one, better and made by a big company?

This Will make a great deal of change in my web career. A great deal already changed by following your adsense method. I have selective posting on areas, and have used some of my tricks. Income for a 2 month old site is about daily 7-9$, after I am following your method since 2 weeks . Before it was about 1.5-2.3$ a day. You have some amazing understanding of the methods. Yes, i for sure now will go for cash rewards based techniques. This was missing from my plans.

Offer rewards to darw more people. more people: more reachibility, income, wider audience--> future scured. :)
