A Simple Suggestion ...

    I suggest that digital point should include some forum rules in the "Welcome to Digital Point Forums!" email, which is sent when a user has activated their link to join digital point.

    I am suggesting this because i have been reading a few of the threads here, and people have received infractions for bumping threads, trying to scam people, creating duplicate accounts, etc etc, so why not add a link in the email for the user to go to and read the rules before they actually start posting.

    Now some users may say well the rules are posted here, if the user ignores them its their own fault. This is true, the forum rules are posted here, but if this helps the users (both the mods and us) surely its worth implementing to see if it may work or not ?

    Its not actually needed as there are already so many stickies (section wise) as well as FAQ/Rules posted :)

    I don't believe giving a link in the welcome email will work to prevent spammers, scammer,etc. In fact maybe some people just ignore the welcome email.

    It's really depends on urself, though. If u really have a good will and want to contribute good to the forum, u will be happy spending ur time browsing all the rules thread.

    Just my 2 cents
