A simple question of backlink .

    Hi i have a website having one thousand pages and 400 out of them are indexed by google .

    I have another site named as CURRENTSITE suppose so if i place link to my CURRENTSITE from those 400 indexed pages that is each page having 10 links to my CURRENTSITE keywords .

    Then there will be around 400 backlinks for each keyword from each page if i use 10 keywords and get a backlink from each page for 1 keyword then i will get 4000 backlinks from the 400 pages .

    But what my question is will google ban me for this i an confused please help me to follow this step how to implement my idea so that google wont ban me and how i can use those 400 pages for generating backlink for my site .

    Google won't ban you in putting backlinks on your own site. Is that what you mean?

    Your site won't get banned, but the target site may be penalised for some time period. It is what happened to one of my websites without previously built links. It's still penalised and it has been over 2 months since it happened...

    Of course, it's always questionable. One site may be penalised, another may be OK.

    Your question really confusing me - actually what you are going to do?? Put a link to your new website from your another website??

    Please explain us clearly..

    I tell you one suggestion to you - Googlebot can identify your IP. Please remember this before doing anything..

    Ok i think the above discussion was clear let me make it simple

    Let i have site A with 10 pages and a site B .

    if i place a link to my site B from each page of site A then my site B will get 10 Backlinks .

    now if i increase the number of pages to 1million of my site A and then provide a link from each page of site A to my Site B what will happen i will get 1million backlinks.

    Now my question is are these links of any help will they increase rankings ?

    Will my site be on top for anchor text i placed on each page of site A ?

    or my sites will get banned i needed a help in this kind of situation waiting for answers .

    If you are getting that number of links to your website then there would be 4000 links from one site(same Class IP address). your site would be penalized for creating link farm for your current site.

    you should use 1 link per page like website created by.....keyword or other manner in footer then there would be less chances to be penalized.

    Be careful to use this kind of stuff.

    hmm actully i am confused about how to do this job if anybody knows the exact procedure then i will be very thankfull for the help waiting for replies
