I have installed a forum at http://sonatech.info/forum/

right now there is no content at http://sonatech.info/

when someone visits http://sonatech.info/ i want it to be redirected to http://sonatech.info/forum/

how can i do that?

if you have cpanel , use the redirection service.
its builtin on cpanel.
it will directly redirect your visitor to h*tp://sonatech.info/forum/ without opening h*tp://sonatech.info

 

Or you could use .htaccess

 

the builtin cpanel redirection actually does the .htaccess thing.
but its easier than editing the file manually.

 

Only if you don't know what you're doing.

Editing a text file and uploading it is a hell of a lot quicker than pissing around in cpanel.
