A Silly Little Thing I Learned About Clickbank

    Hello All,
I have a bunch of Clickbank accounts and there is one site that I haven't been promoting at all for a while and it suddenly got 2 orders for a $67 video course. Anyway Clickbank sent me the check and then the 2 people refunded putting my Clickbank account into a negative balance. I didn't promote the site so i got no more sales and it stayed negative for few months and they closed it they said for having a negative balance for a prolonged period of time. I never knew that. They said I can re-register the account but I probably can't use that same id so I would have to change all my links on my affiliate page and homepage.

Did anyone ever have this happen to them or did anyone know about your account getting closed for a neg balance?

    Mike

Not sure, but if your account has a negative balance for a certain period of time, I suppose they automatically close them.

The best thing to do is to email their support team.

I think it's very stupid of Clickbank to close the account. It will be much better for them to send emails after emails to ask you to topup the account. At least they can earn a few bucks, while allowing you to maintain the site.

has the account been quiet for a while ? I guess if there's not very much activity they assume your not using the links anymore so therefore starting a new account won't make much difference. I'm sure that if you send them an email outlining your intentions for the account they will be able to help you.

    Hi there
Clickbank do have a dormant account policy, after 90 days they will start to charge your account each pay period, and after another 90 days charge again
at a higher rate. There is a way round this with a free ebook by Harvey Seagal if you pm me Iwill send you link.
