A should for seller.

In my opinion I would really hope every seller could state clear what they are selling and the statistics(e.g. sites).

I came across many threads and 60% of the replies are asking details (e.g. statistics, domain info, price), and doing this is similar to bumping threads indirectly.

Is it really that hard to post a screenshot or state what you're selling clearly? And because of the lack of info the trade have to occupy the forum space as well as causing the dragging of sales and trade(e.g. keep asking and replying in the same trade). Some even amazed me, (for selling sites) just a link, start bid and BIN that's all.

I know my suggestion could be annoying for sellers, but isn't it more convenient and better if you're saving time for both sides?

This has been a suggestion many times... and its really annoying. I second this, and I really think you should put that rule in place.

Can't see what the downside would be- but I know there probably is one

    Thanks

Surely if sellers make it harder or slower for buyers to get the info they need then they run the risk of loosing the sale, so its in their best interest anyway. I agree with this and when I am selling stuff I make sure I provide all posssible details.

There are legitimate reasons for people not wanting stats, earnings, or even URLs public, and where privately giving that info only to interested parties is smarter. For example, some people don't want the URL listed because they don't want a public record of the sale. If a site's particularly successful and in a relatively unknown niche, too many public details could spur an onslaught of copycats, therefore diminishing the niche value of the site. There are other reasons.

But you're right... those things amount to bumps. And even if an OP tells you to post something like that, it's still bumping (the OP doesn't make the forum rules, and their post doesn't override the no-bumping rules). If you want more details, as a potential buyer, it's your responsibility to directly PM or email the seller to request that information privately.
