You’ve got 25 characters to work with, which really isn’t a lot. At most, you might be able to squeeze in 4 words, but even that is a stretch. So a question I post to you is, “Why think about it so hard?†There is a very unique social sharing feature of Facebook that many of you might be overlooking. That would be the “Like†feature. You can like pages, you can like comments and posts and every other little thing on Facebook. Even, yes, you should know this, the ads. Let me get to the point of this post. Like. Use it in your ad headline. “Like Games?â€, “Like Women?â€, or “Like Clubbing?†Just some simple examples for you guys. Simple, right? Well, I’ve found forming headlines like this not only perform well CTR-wise for me, but also generates higher social percentages than any other ads I write. Including the word “Like†seems to speak out to the user and makes them want to click “Like.†I’ve used this direct linking to horrible affiliate offers that wouldn’t otherwise be liked for really any reason, and have gotten decent social % from the ads. Surprising and utterly simple to the core. Try it and see how it works for you.
