    Ya, Why not ?

    You can be as old as the oldest tree you've ever seen, and have a full life

    also, you can be so young and youthful, and have the most boring life you can ever imagine.

    Life is all about living to the fullest. If I have a choice to make, definitely it will be the first one. It won't bring any meaning if it's a long and boring one.

    Long and boring (if you want one of the two answers not changed), even that I doubt something like file can be boring. The life is whatever you do from it, if you make it long and meaningful - good for you, so if you can't add any sence to whatever you are doing - than I guess you are better to stick with short.
