I wrote a blog post a couple of days ago, on how you can find dofollow relevant high pr blog posts using google, I'll describe it in brief here, to read the full detailed article with screen shots, you can check the page: Build Backlinks from Blogs

    What you need to do:
    - Find High pr blog posts
    - make sure they are dofollow
    - comment

    Finding high pr blog posts:
    Use google -
type this in “powered by wordpress” “your niche” “leave a comment”

    Sort them by PR-
you can use SEO Quake for this.

    Make sure they are dofollow:
Seo quake works, nodofollow also works. else you can check manually, by viewing source and seeing if links have a rel="nofollow" . If they don't, then blog is dofollow.

    Comment on them:
    - dont spam
    - add value to the post
    - keep it relevant
    - there are some form fillers which you can use which can help you fill in site, email details quickly.

That is about it. For additional search queries for finding blogs, screen shots, or a more detailed process and links to the various tools for making this task easier, visit the link above. Hope you enjoyed the post:)

Nice guide. One think I'd like to add is using a dofollow search engine can really help you find the blogs. There's dozens of them out there but many are rarely updated. Because of that I've created my own and have consistently updated it: do follow search engine

Nice search engine. Bookmarked it. Do you use google to find dofollow blogs for it, or do you add dofollow blogs to it on your own?

Good tip,but my doubt is whether we can give comments more than one time to the same sites at different days?

Lakshmi, I dont think any blog owner will have a problem with you commenting on different posts on his blog. On most blogs, comments are encouraged. Just make sure, that you add to the value of the post, or ask some query which came to your mind, after reading the post.

Yeah just be careful of spamming. Many blog owners will start a dofollow blog but when all those junk comments start pouring in they switch back to nofollow.

I wonder what the volume of spam needs to be in order for a blog owner to get so ticked off they switch to 'nofollow'...

    Short but high-valued post. Thanks.

Just don't spam. It kills whole the idea. Especially the comments like "good post. thank you"

Using a dofollow search engine will do this task better than these manual stuff.

Well the problem with this is that many blogs use spam blockers, that won't let you comment on old posts. To stop people commenting for PR.

Yes, but some of the blog owners don't care. They need human responce, not abstract machine PR. We're lucky not all bloggers writing for money, SERPs or sales. Some of them blogging just for fun.

There's two sides to this, of course. If you are leaving good comments, then that's good. A link back to your site should be OK. But then you get these people who are idiots who never understood the idea that you can sheer a sheep many times but only skin him once. They go out, they spam the blogs, add nothing useful or contextual and then kill it for everyone else...AND they get no benefit after all that hard work anyway because the comments go "nofollow". So what did they accomplish exactly?

It's like they are actively trying to ruin it for everyone.

I looked over your suggestions and will try this on Monday.

I appreciate the links to the plug-ins. I had heard of these, but I hadn't yet figured out how to make it work until now.

    Thanks!

Crazy idea while Greasemonkey (Firefox add-on) is at ur hand. Using greasemonkey you can detect if a blog is DF/NF in a second.
Anyway thanx for ur tips. Its so great.
