Sorry if the title is a little confusing but here is what I need. say for example I have a website at mywebsite.com and I have various files uploaded for example mywebsite.com/file1.txt and mywebsite.com/file2.txt etc .... Is there a way I can create a search box where someone would only need to type in the name of the file, for example file1.txt and a download would start. so the script would already know the mywebsite.com part and the search box in effect would allow users to finish off the download path adding the file1.txt. The script would see this and put the two parts together reading mywebsite.com/file1.txt and start downloading it? thank you
