I found this today via Digg, someone posted their own test cases & review of several PPC alternatives to Google at http://www.dummysoftware.com/blog/index.html Looks like he touches on YPN, TargetPoint, Clicksor, Kanoodle, Adsonar, Clickbank, Amazon, and a few others.
tschrock, are you suggesting that azoogle is better than others? Unfortunately, YPN is not available for the international publishers. What would be the second best option in that case?
I'm surprised that he finds Clicksor's click rate to be so poor. Mine is as good as with Adsense. Their per-click payment is much lower, though.
For sites that fit some categories azoogle can be very lucrative, the same as other payperlead networks. You need to experiment to find a network and creatives that work well on your site.
I have used targetpoint leaderboards on my framed proxied pages on my proxy sites and they are terrible. I ran targetpoint side by side on the proxied pages with google adsense on my non proxied internet pages. The proxied pages got more uniques and a hell of a lot more page impressions than the index page but while google made me about $100 in the same time target point made me $5 Could their popunders and popups possibly pay more than the miserable 2 cents per click they pay for banners? Also...someone on another forum suggested to me that targetpoint may not be reporting all their clicks. Is that a common complaint with targetpoint?
