Dear DP members, Seven days ago I started a new site "TeenageWriters.com", my motive behind starting this site is to give every teenager who writes a chance to show their work to the world. Most teenagers are to afraid to be embaressed that they will never show there work offline or even think about contacting a publisher. At the moment the site only holds a forum but I hope to have the full site online before the 1st of september. Now I will get down to why I started this thread, at the moment I am with a belgium host , where I have a very small package which I got as a gift. This host has poor uptime and bad service, I am looking now for a host to sponser my site in trade of a "Powered by LOGO from HOST" sign on every page . I can't offer money for a hosting package because i'm only 14 years old and my site is not making any revenue. I hope someone here is kind enough to sponser TeenageWriters, Eiso
I could offer about 200mb space, 2 gb bandwidth, cpanel, fantastico etc Cant gurantee any 100% uptime since i got my reseller account from a free host that i am an admin of, they have there own server, details as follows if interested pm me
It is very kind offer thank you very much but the amount of bandwidth won't be enough when we will start offering more then the forum in september.
you would be surprised at how far 2gb will go. Once you offer more you may be able to pay something towards hosting and get more bandwidth. I can offer you the same but with 99.9% uptime, although I think a tie in with Just-4-teens would be a good thing as you both service the same market.. "Think outside the box"
The thing is in september we will start offering blog space for our members and I'm affraid 2 gb won't manage then.
i have 3 forums, a blog, a chat room and the main site on my just-4-teens site and 200+ unique daily visiters and hardly break the 1gb bandwidth mark
