I have had a website up at geekz.us for a couple of years now, and in the beginning I had created this site just for my own use as an IT guy. Geekz.us was the shortest URL I could think of which was easily remembered and easier to type. I worked for a small 3 man it shop and I was tired of typing urls for utilities and stuff which I would install on client workstations and servers. Over the course of the last year or so it has been getting pretty steady traffic and a high percentage of those being uniques. I thought about monetizing the site somehow, but here is my problem. The site has no clear theme or idea and was not created for this. I know most folks get an ideas, register a domain name, and then begin building. I am sort of going in reverse. I have a domain with over a 1k in uniques a month, which is no huge amount of traffic, but it is traffic which I can leverage with some of my other sites. The site is a hodgepodge of things right now, and it is lacking in content at the moment since I changed from PHP-Fusion to Wordpress this month and have not re-posted all the old blog entries (and in fact I may not do this anyway). If this was your domain name and site, where would you take it? What would you do with it? I am looking for ANY ideas as I am really clueless at this point since every idea I have come up with I have also shot down (being my own worst critic is the what I am best at it seems). thanks guys and gals,
