"Healthy" is a great word to use in this instance. Off course there is more to be considered such as how many directories you're running, etc. Anyways, I'll be trying this concept with a new directory about to launch and see how it goes.
Excellent, i hope your experimentation goes well with this and il be sure to report back here on how it works out for myself too. Im thinking of leaving one of my directories untouched that is on par with another of mine to then compare things afterwards.
there are good reasons to add sites manually (some has been said already) you are assured of quality sites as you will add them yourself you get a chance to add sites to categories which are very difficult to fill via paid submissions (organizations, governments etc) you give some value to empty category pages which will then have some (unique) content. (make sure you write the descriptions yourself) your directory looks like its actually being looked after and not abandoned I think these things can really help submissions also manual submissions definitely are needed when running your directory, no question get to it pipeso
i just had 24 free submission on one of my directories , i allowed 2 links per empty catagory and i was pleasantly surprised by the 'unique' websites other members of dp have and very informational ,especially in the health and science catagories. Also it got some extra sales on other sites.
Hi discover, i agree, you made really great points, il get to it. Hi casinobonusguy, sounds good, it appears to be very positive.
Quality Content = Cached Pages Cached Pages = Traffic It’s a simple formula to put you on the road to success.
