A reasonable price for vectis.com

I'm looking at buying vectis.com from the current owner, but his valuation seems pretty steep ($20,000). There is no website associated with the domain and it was first registered in 2001. What do you think?

Yes, too expensive. Name of domain is not so important as content and profit from website.

If that term "vectis" is able to earn millions of dollars, why not, but I am not really sure about it :)

I'd be worried about trademark violations with the domain

This is either fake or you have no idea about domain valuation. It has zero value as keyword and around $500-1000 as a brand name. You still might face lawsuit from company in uk that uses .co.uk version for this domain names. They have all the rights to use this domain names.

Personally I would not even consider to buy this domain names for $200 because it is not as good as it might look at first glimpse.
