Hi all, it's when you come across sites and initiatives like this that I feel IM, and the Internet in general, can be used for some good and help those less fortunate who actually want to make a difference to themselves and their families. At this site, www.Kiva.org you can empower other fellow entrepreneurs to make a difference to themeselves and there families. You can loan small amounts of money - say $25 - to micro-entrepreneurs in countries like Cambodia, Indonesia, Peru and Uganda. They use the money to grow their business and then pay it back. You can then re-loan the money to others. This "teach a man how to fish" at its very best and it's thriving. A groundbreaking micro-enterprise concept that could change peoples lives.
I don't think kiva is really efficient coz when we lend $100,they borrower only receive 70% of it coz the rest is go to middle man for commission. That why i always directly lend to them without passing any middle man.
