A quick tip to getting some sales

    I've recently been working with the Amazon affiliate program, pretty much started this about a month ago and now I'm starting to get some decent sales.

    I run a deal of the day link on my site (link at the bottom of this post if you're interested) where each day I'll highlight a number of deals I think my readers would be interested in.

    I hand pick 5 or 6 good items for sale, and list those with affiliate links.

    So far, so good. It takes me about 30 minutes a day, but I get some good feedback, returning readers and affiliate sales.

    Not sure if you know about this but amazon has a Today's Deals thing it could help you speed up your time looking for items to write about. It updates everyday so always gonna have something new to write about.

    Interesting to know some data, how much traffic do you have per day on your site?

    @Madmurphy - thanks, that's a great suggestion. I do use this tool a bit.

    @bess - I get about 4500k uniques a day visiting the site and an additional 1200 or so folks viewing from RSS.
