If i want to build links for my website and advertise my site on others should i use my url http://www.mysite.com or can i use other url - like a click tracking url, or tinyurl link, etc. or is it always the best to have a straight url to your site. Does that matter when it comes to link building.
I think that when you're submitting your link to another site you should use your own url. It's your own site, right? It's not an affiliate link or anything? If it's your website then I don't see any reason for cloaking your link. As far as the tracking goes, I would only use that when you're actually placing ads, not when you're trading or submitting links to other sites. What is your site anyway? It would be cool if we could check it out. Sheree
you should always use your own link without any fabrication done with it as this way only your website will get SERP
Well we have a new social network we are building. socialsplash.com - it's going to launch in jan. I am building a link directory for socialsplash and then i'll be able to exchange links with others.
Any quality site that links to yours would not allow you to use a redirected url. Use the direct link.
