A quick adsense question

    Hello all
    i bought a template with perfect adsense locations and integeration etc...i uploaded it to mysite...the adsense code where like this
    google_ad_client = "pub-aaaa";
    google_ad_width = 250;
    google_ad_height = 250;
    google_ad_format = "250x250_as";
    google_ad_channel ="1400648037";
    google_ad_type = "text_image";
    google_color_border = "6790b4";
    google_color_bg = "6790b4";
    google_color_link = "90b5d6";
    google_color_text = "90b5d6";
    google_color_url = "ff9c00"


    Can i just replace the pub-aaa with my pub xxxx
    and leave all the same..please help

    yes you need to change only 2 things in the above code :
    google_ad_client = "pub-aaaa";
    google_ad_channel ="1400648037";

    remember to create a new channel in your adsense settings then add your channel details and your account details to the snippet above

    You can just change this with ur publisher id and leave the channel field blank "". if you want a better way then create your own ad with similar color codes and a channel, later replace the current code with the new one.

    channel is must coz by doing this you have control on displaying ads

    ^^ The Pub id should be changed to yours so that you get the money.
    The ad channel is by what I understand a means to know what you have earned from this particular site and ad placement.

    The other parameters are the colors of the background, text, url and stuffs.

    The size shouldn't be changed in this case.

    another quick question,
    when i first go into my adsense account I see in my overview in the channels ..one channel has 11impressions
    but when i go into the reports ..i see 100+ impressions for this channel\
    why?
