Hello Everyone, I have a question to the Indian Paypal Users. Are the new policies of Payapl implemented for the Indian users or those policies are yet to take effect? Please tell me if you know. Please help. Thank You
Anyone cant say that new rules will be implemented or will not be ever implemented as they were saying from March 1 and now the March month is also coming to an end.I hope this rules never get implemented and evryone Indian Paypal user can enjoy sending money using Paypal balance
No problem at all till now, hope it stays like this. Although I have heard some people do have problems sending money.
it has been implemented but not in a way people expected. They say "you may not" when logging into paypal account. They have left it onto the users to follow the rule rather than hard coding it into the system. This is my interpretation of the message displayed to indian paypal users when they log into their account. You can consult your own lawyers. I am sure they are aware of implications of limiting accounts and they wouldn't want to go out of business in one of the fastest growing economies of world. It is their way of conforming to RBI rule yet not following it in spirit. I hope it stays like this or they find some means to return to normal.
I think the policies have not been implemented. because there was a term according to which, a user couldnot have his money in paypal for more than 5 days. but i never withdrew my money. it seems to be working fine till now....
i am unable to send payments to indian users from indian account.. they are saying that " Please choose alternate payment method to send this payment" some features were implemented i guess
Yes one of my friend called paypal like 2 days ago and they said they would implement the new guide lines after 1st april. This is kinda strange because paypal didnt send any emails about the delay on implementation
I just sent a payment to my hosting service. No problems . RIP RBI. I hope we can use all Paypal features forever.
Thank god that Paypal has not implemented this strategy as i would have to shift to alert Pay which charges much fees then Paypal.
