a question to all webmasters whove had link exchanges

    guys a vital question here when you exchange links with a popular website where do they place you.They always throw me into there directory never on the front page.Iam referring to the sites with a more than 6 page rank.What about u guys?????????

    Have you thought of ASKING to place you somewhere specifically? It never hurts to ask :p Of course it may require you to place their link where ever they ask... if necessary you compromise.

    I have a links page where all my links go, but I've written a script that automatically places the top 10 referrers on my home page... gives them the incentive to either place me on their homepage or on more than 1 page :)
