A question - site with 4500 uniques per day

Let's say that I have a site that gets 4500 uniques per day. However, the site is banned in Google. How much would you say this site is worth?

 

its all a function of revenue and profit, banned or not, really. If its consistent traffic (ie repeat traffic) and banned from SE's, its probably valued more than if it gets free SE only traffic.

 

banned as in not indexed?

If so, I would do a search here about getting unbanned. I had a site once banned, I wrote G and a few days later I was re-indexed. I was banned for months and didn't even know it.

Once unbanned, then you can really make your money from selling the site.

Yes, it is banned. I tried getting it unbanned a number of times. Didn't have any luck. So, I finally gave up.

I do not have AdSense or such on the domain. I was using it to promote my products.

The topic of the site is multimedia software.

 

Get a couple of months of adsense/YPN revenue behind you and it will be worth significantly more.

 

Why don't you tell us what the site name is? I would be able to make a much better evaluation.

There are also other factors .. off the top of my head ...

1. Google is not the only search engine out there
2. Where is the traffic from? (Which Country)
3. The demographics of the traffic .. Tech, Female, Teens, Pr0n ??

all the above and a few more would make a big difference.

 

Who are the referers that are sending this much traffic?

honey, I PMed you the URL. I know why it was banned though. This was back before I learned SEO stuff myself. I hired a company to help, they used Traffic Equalizer, it got banned. That's why i try to warn people about Traffic Equalizer here. Of course, I removed all the Traffic Equalizer pages and links immediately once I was "hip" to what was going on, etc. and before I contacted Google. That's when I started learning SEO myself.

if the traffic remains steady then so does the site's value

 

The traffic has indeed been steady for quite some time.

 

About 90% of the referers are unidentified. What is the source of this traffic?

 

I don't know why the stats program does not identify the referrer information for those...
