A question regarding the number of ads

I read the Google Adsense Polices today as i was unsure about the maximum number of the ads units that can been displayed on a page and while i read them a new question came to my mind.
My question may sound stupid to some of you but i am totally new to Adsense world

It says that :

Does that mean that i can have 3 ad units + 3 link units + 3 referral units in total?

And something last , can i have different referral units on a table such as google's tla's etc..? or is that against google's tos?

Yes, you can have 3 units of each type.

I always read this to mean only 3 total...any clarification from someone else would be very helpful.

 

The "also" and "in addition to" right there in Google's policy makes it extremely clear that you can have three of each.

Now everything is clear to me about the number of ads , great

 

max = 9 ads and 1 search

3 for link ads
3 for text links ads
3 for referrals

 

Three of each type is acceptable
