A question on so-called supplemental results

I am interested: why sometimes when I search for some particular term or phrase, I get the "repeat the search with the omitted results included" offer/link (which, if clicked, "reveals" pages on my other site-variants containing that term/phrase), and in other cases not, i.e. when I search for some other term/phrase; however, the thing is that these terms/words are all used in six almost identical variants of my home site ??

    thanks, tayiper

Those aren't supplemental results per se.
They are just discounted pages and links in the algorithm.

A supplemental result will display "supplemental result" on the se page.
