    How are you doing everyone?

Would you guys mind if i replied to a thread on the WEBSITE REVIEW base with a last reply from 2004?

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=518

I really like the site and i wanna leave my comments (But i dont wanna possibly anger anyone in the process)

I know sometimes i reply to old threads but it might be different on that base.... (The link is still valid to the site he listed)

Thank you for your time :)

I really like this site and im glad to be here with all you fine people :)

I'm not sure whether there's a rule about reviving very old, but not forgotten posts. I'll leave that one to a more experienced member to say.

My suggestion is that if anyone does have a problem with resurrecting that post that you can still tell that person how you feel. You can add to that persons reputation. There's a little button at the top of the post that looks like this.

When you add (or subtract) from someone's rep you can leave a comment. It's also going to show the person exactly what you're talking about by linking back to the post.

That's what rep is for. When you like what someone has to say you can give them rep.

By the way, I'm pretty sure that you remain anonymous when you give rep.

first of all his last activity was on november 2006.so its unlikely that he will see your post.
but if the mods openly allow this then what will happen is:

People will find old threads that have pr of 5,6,7 and then start reviving them in the name of giving reviews, informing and what not.
It will then turn into a spam link forum.
Also they have been taking lots of efforts to raise the level of dp in search engines it will all go in vain if they allow this.
    thank you.
You can add rep as psychic51 said.
