A Question About WordPress Posts vs Pages

    Hello,

I have a couple of websites where each consists solely of a hosted WordPress blog and the blog's associated posts and pages.

What is the difference AFA SEO is concerned between WP posts and WP pages?

When do I post and when do I create a new page if my main objectives are to achieve the best possible search engine positioning?

I'm sorry if this has been covered; I couldn't find it with my search.

    Thanks

    John

I think of pages as more for "static" content such as "About," etc. The purpose of the blog is to make posts that are updated regularly.

If your URLs are properly optimized, there will be no difference between posts and pages to the SEs (none that I have ever seen or heard of, anyway).
