I Had a PhotoShop CS2 for dummies Ebook on my computer,i put it up on the freebies section, even though i had a few people saying thanks etc, i had someone saying that i shouldn't be doing it because it is copyrighted, and not my eBook. Am I ALlowed to do this, as i am not actually selling it, just letting others know about it, I just dont want to put something up like it and get bad rep,

all help appreciated, thanks in advance

That is a copyrighted work and you are breaking the law by sharing it.

have you taken the permission of the owner of the ebook, perhaps you should ask the owner first before putting it up for giving it for free!

though mitch, you could simply ask the creator of the ebook :)...if he says it's ok then it's not breaking any copyrights...

i know I for one would love to have my ebooks (if i had any) posted on a site like this :D
