Hello everybody!I'm planning to buy me a Creative Inspire 5200 5.1 speaker system coz I've read some positive reviews about it and @ Rs.4000 INR it doesn't seem to burn a hole in my pocket! Now my questions are these.. 1.Are there any better speaker systems around that price tag? 2.Can the wire of the rear speakers be extended? Last,and the most important question,does a dedicated sound card perform much better than an onboard 5.1 sound unit with respect to games like Hl2,Fear,etc. and MP3s in general? Regards
Maybe..I personally prefer logitech speakers...they have lots of options and even a system with wireless rear speakers.. depends on the connection, but you should be able to find whatever you need at radioshack to extend them... I also prefer a dedicated card, and you can get some creatives cheap on ebay...most of the creatives are now HD with 24 or 32 bit decoding...much better than onboard...
