    Hello every one,

i am after a domain, which is now expired (its registered on name cheap)
now when i see its status, it shows :

    (on-hold (redemption period))

It Was Expired On : Sep 9 2009

And Today Is : Oct 30, 2009 (nearly 51 days already passed after its expiry)

i wanna know when it will be deleted????? so i can register it....

The Redemption period generally lasts 30 days. However, eNom has also the Extended Redemption Grace Period which lasts for 30 more days.

The registrar can also take control of the domain name at any point - i.e. the domain name can be reserved and may not be released at all.

yeah it generally expires after 30 days but you already said 51 days passed you should contact to the company that domain earlier.
