a question about credit card and paypal

i'm looking to do some overseas business with this china site, but i'm very weary that any company that i do business with could be a scam.

I read on another forum where if you use paypal and you use a credit card through there and something doesn't go right, you can always call your credit card company up and ask for a charge back.

I also read this is much easier because paypal takes to long for everything to be finished.

    Okay, here's the questions......

    1) when you ask for a charge back, will they accept it because it's overseas? This goes for Mastercard, Visa, American Express? or when you receive your credit card statement, will it display as a Paypal transaction, if it displays as that, then it shouldn't matter where it's coming from.

    2) How long does the chargeback period take? The way I read it on another forum is the person was making it was sounding like it was instant.

    3) Is there a chargeback fee on mastercard, visa, or American express? How much would it be? if there is?

    1. You can still lodge a chargeback, even if the seller is in overseas.
    2. It varies, but normally takes weeks to months. Paypal takes time to investigate and to liaise both sellers and buyers.
    3. I am sorry I couldn't give any answers to you on this, as I am not the one who charge.

(P.S. I am a victim of chargeback, as I was scammed by buyers who get the goods).

    - Yes, it is same as you deal with the locate company.

    - Paypal is instant after confirmation. Normally they will freeze the payment if receive any complaint or refund request from the buyer.
