I've just used BrowserShots.org to take screenshots of one of my Web pages, as seen in different browsers. The Web page in question presents a long sales letter, and is therefore very large vertically. In other words, you have to scroll down quite a bit to get to the bottom. In many of the screenshots, the top and bottom of my Web page is shown, but not the middle. There's a slit across the screenshot where it jumps from top to bottom, omitting the middle. Is this normal? I don't know if it's a problem with my Web page or BrowserShots' way of ensuring that I get to see the top and bottom of my Web page.
yep - i find it easier to test on teh different browsers yourself that way you can see what happens...or if i am feeling lazy i will use firefox with browser emulator plugin
let me see if i can find it - i am at work at the min... UPDATE: the website i installed it from is parked i suppose you could try with the fake user agent addon...
You should see the entire page, example: http://api.browsershots.org/png/512/7d/7dcf6d73794aa81e21b6014797f8c8fe.png As you can see, there's multiple scrollbars to the right. This is just browsershots that is stitching together multiple images so that the entire page can be seen. However, perhaps this isn't possible with some browsers?
