a question about adsense for search

I start a brand new website on End of May, I am gradually getting some regular traffic on the site, after a few adjustments, I manage to triple the client through rate, I only test the adsense for search on a few pages, My question is why I am not paid for those clicks. Does it operate differently?

Also I am looking for some advice on growing traffic, (currently around 50 visitor /per day)I tried directory, build links, write articles, join forums, it has not made too much difference I have to admit. please anyone have other advices?

Once they perform a search using the searchbar, and if they click on an advertisement you'll get credited with the click.

Place a "bookmark this page" or "set this page as your home" and a search bar to get repeat visitors ;)

Well, most traffic comes from search engines on the internet. Since you have just started at the end of may, Google hasn't really indexed your site that well, and since it is a brand new site, it will place it in the so-called andbox for some time. You just have to wait to get better rankings in the search engines. It might help to submit a Sitemap to google. And the mean time, keep adding unique content to your site. Write good quality content, so visitors will return to your site.

You will get paid only when someone perform the search and click on the sponsored links. You should see the stat inside your adsense account.

Try to get back links from authority sites and .gov or .edu back links will boost up your ranking in SE.
