I bought a link today that has over 300 backlinks and some of the backlinks have good rank.

if i 301 redirect that link to my other website, will i gain anything from it? Rankwise, dont really care about traffic. If that doesnt work, than how do you do i do it so i can benefit from it linkwise?

    thanks

If you bought the link, why not have it point to the site you want? At any rate, doing a 301 redirect will tell the search engines that the page the link is pointing to has permanently been changed to the new page and will pass the PR to it.

If you put that page on 301 redirect that will pass on all the incoming link and PR to the forwarded site.
