Hi Guys I would like to introduce you to my new Q&A portal for affiliate webmasters. This is a website focusing on the same group who use EzineArticles for their website promotion 1. In EZA, you post articles to show yourself as industry expert 2. In EZA, you post 400 word articles to rank in high competition keywords a. In KnewThis, you post answers to questions to show you are an industry expert b. You post short 50-100 word answers to rank in lots and lots of long-tail keywords The site is still small and looking for traffic and I would like you to review the website. Thanks Visit : KnewThis.com
gotta be honest i dont like any of it.. The domain name, the colors, the layout any of it.. I dont see what it is, I dont see the point of it, and i dont see a market for it.. sorry man
That's interesting because the site layout is very much based on Amazon's Askville..Anyway, thanks for your comment. Will appreciate other reviews..
The categories are similar to Yahoo Answers. I think it will do well. What is your strategy for making money?
Hi Brian Thanks for your comment. Right now, I am not looking at monetization. Just want to grow the traffic. And I think the difference between Yahoo answers and this one is that this website is focused on affiliate webmasters and helps them build targeted backlinks to their affiliate products - much similar to Ezinearticles. However, the task is simpler here since you only have to answer in a few words and not write a 500 word article like in Ezinearticles.
You might consider some meta data and some welcoming and explanatory text on the page. You don't give the search engines much to work with.
Thanks Gerry...I am having some problem with the metadata and a Google search for "knewthis" returns some error in the cached text. Hence, I have removed it till the next indexing. But that should be cleared soon and will add it. Explanatory text - It's a nice idea, but I don't want to make it explicit that it is for affiliate webmasters..A search engine visitor should think it is like any other question and answer site...Explaining that the affiliate webmasters may use the site to drive traffic to your website might reduce the value of the site in the eyes of the visitor and hence reduce conversions for the affiliate webmasters..
