A Proxy Site?

Ok, I am 99.9% sure that running a proxy site is not against the U.S. law. The reason why I am making this thread is because I made a proxy recently, I showed it to some of my friends and they got in trouble for it at school. Someone snitched on me (meh) that I made the site. There are now rumors saying that I will get in trouble with the law. Now of course this is just a scare tactic used by the admins of my school. But, if I'm ever confronted by the admins, what can I say to them? Of course I made this site purely for business purposes only, and it was never a school project. IMO there is no way I can get introuble by the school, nor the police....

    Any advice?

No you will not get in trouble with the law.

    Your right to anonymity
Amendments 9 and 10 of The United States Bill Of Rights protect the right to be free of unwarranted and unwanted government intrusion into one's personal and private affairs, papers, and possessions. Article 12 of The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights states, "No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks."

Despite some charges to the contrary, anonymous Web surfing is not the sole province of criminals. Anonymity also serves whistle blowers, free speech advocates, and people just looking for personal privacy online. Privacy is not a crime and anonymity is not morally ambiguous or wrong, they are your right.

If your in the U.S. the Bill Of Rights ( Amendments 1-10 ) and your under 18 they don't apply to you.. IDK about the UK thing but...

Anyway... I don't think you could get in trouble. My teachers caught some kids using my proxy and all I got was a slap on the wrist AND they still didn't block it yet :) SWEET!

You can get in trouble only if your proxy was used to make something illegal and you don't stopped the abuser.
But access a proxy site from school can be against school rules not against law.

Thanks guys. Yea, the only way I could see my getting introuble with my school would be if I made it as a school project (which I didn't). On the other hand, my friends got their computer rights taken away.
