This is a good proof that google punish sites for having adult content/adult links the domain name sex.com is a PR0 .... also many others xxx related websites are PR0
Also im sure sex.com doesnt care about PR. They get what they want and that is visitors to make them money.
Could be tons of reasons. May have had server issues. Transferred servers and site was down. Slow servers and pages wouldnt load fast enough for google to see em.
that's not a result of google hating adult sites, that's a result of not many people wanting to link to adult sites.
Results 1 - 10 of about 25 linking to www.sex.com. (0.18 seconds) Thats probably why they have such a low page rank, great domain title for direct requests but not that hot for linking!
i think google doesnt punish them only while using adsense on them. you can run across adult ADs while searching on google adwords side. also it wrote on google book about posibility.
Google punish adult content? Not possible, there are lot of SEOs optimizing porn and adult sites. Except when a porn site performs a black hat technique.
Awesome, I now have proof that Google punishes sites about dogs because there are dog sites out there with PR 0. Agreed: How many people visit sex sites? How many people admit to this in the office and discuss a great site they visited last night and compare stories of great ones in the office? => How many sites link to them?

They may be PR0 but press in sex and they will still be on the fron page which is more worth than a PR
