A Problem with Anchors in Articles

I write an article that contain 2 links:

    * Link1: www.mysite.com/productxxx, with anchor is "Product XXX" (this link uses 301 redirect technique to point to another site)
    * Link2: www.mysite.com, with anchor is "Descriptions About My Site"

Link1 appears above Link2 in the article.

I dont know whether Google counts both of my anchors. If No, then which anchor is counted?

Could you please give me an advice for anchor strategy in an article? Thank you!

The search engines like to see a natural flow to the links you create. They like to see a variety of anchor text words. For this reason, make sure to vary the words you use. Of course, the majority of the time, you should use your predetermined keywords. But you should also use similar words, totally different words, varying singular or plural forms of the words, etc. This will cause the search engines to determine that your links have been built naturally, and you will experience better rankings because of this.

Thank both of you. I'm going to change my anchor strategy as you instructed.
