a problem in DP with possibility to lost nickname

Hi,

This is my first post from other nickname, yes I did it. My original is SEOLinker, just made account from other PC, cause I know it's prohibited to make double accounts from one and even telling this now I may be banned.

But... I do have a bog problem.

I just lost my pwd to DP, cookies don't get it as well, it was lost I assume after clearing them. But now I realised I can't return it via e-mail cause...

It more than 2 years reply. But I don't have access to that e-mail as well. I am not Scott or whatever, I am Alexander and I am not sure how it was restored last time. And I am just realised I was registered as SEOLinker, not SEO-Linker, probably system even not allow nicknames with "-".

Can I use other e-mail instead ? I wrote to webmaster@digitalpoint.com but it is full of e-mails. And nobody replied at all even from other e-mails. I wroted to Aaron Nimocks personally but looks it still not work. Which means I have no way to restore my nickname cause DP not allow other nicknames in same time from 1 PC or at all!

Please delete this scott*****@yahoo.com I don't know who is this guy even. And switch me to current e-mail (i'll tell mods in PM) so I can restore my pwd.

I receive all my DP PM to this e-mail so it proof it's mine! Check please, when I'll tell you it.

My nickname is SEOLinker and location: Ukraine/USA , posts : 1500-2000, about 5-10 positive itraders.

Please help, I am begging you. I don't want to lose 2 years account

And it appears a big problem, what if person lose/forget/can't access e-mail with which he registered as well as pwd of nickname? It looks like no way to restore nickname then( I have list of other forums where I registered as SEOLinker but pwd appears to be same everywhere, jut not in DP which is very strange.

You should email a moderator instead of creating a second account, that's the only I can say, but only moderators have the last word.

 

How I can e-mail him via DP if I don't have access to my initial account ? lol, please read more carefully next time.
I found website of one of the moderators and e-mailed to whois e-mail (which I assume anyway not the method). But didn't get any reply and he was in DP yesterday.

It would be up to the moderator to review the PRIVATE information you sent them to see if they can help you sort out your password/email issue. They're not on-call 24-hours a day, so give it some time. And don't use this account or you'll just risk having them BOTH banned.

 

While I understand it's entirely up to them, should be some way to deal with such thing in future, cause if person lost access to e-mail account he registered with or even lost this e-mail as well as pwd to forum, he lost. That's it.

P.S. I'll make post with it only in this thread. By the way I don't mind being banned if I can unbanned in future of course, cause for now I can't even login, I assume it's worse than ban. Problem is I contact mod in unofficial way, so not even sure he'll reply. That's why I am here.
