A PR mystery!

I found this site: interest.co.nz and noticed that it's PR6 with only 27 backlinks - mostly from the same unrelated site. The html coding breaks all the rules.

Any ideas how they manage to pull this off?

    thanks

    "interest.co.nz" yields "Results 1 - 10 of about 860 for "interest.co.nz"." on Google.

Thanks for that xml, I keep forgetting to take msn seriously.
don't break my heart! What about the classic ideas that:
    * the spiders will only trip over javascript and bad style coding for so many bytes before giving up?
    * and the use of h1 to guide them to the important stuff?

Thanks minstrel, you must have a different datacenter to me!

I've looked through some of the msn list and it's a spammers paradise. They're not getting links back so I'm guessing the spammers are just using sites with common keywords to build pages. Yet another reason to nab that good domain name :)

Why do you worry about the competition with your talent SK? You should just plow ahead and not look back....

I'm 50% netrepeneur, 50% wageslave. The wage slave worries as much as the wageslave is requested to worry!

Is this site competing with one of yours or your clients sites?

You are smart for not giving them a live link or they would be hip to this thread, hey SK?

Don’t get me wrong, I look at a lot of pages myself, but if I had your skill I would be building pages instead of looking at them like I do all the time.

Minstrel, it matters not, she is a superstar and she knows I know, that is all that matters.

Don't let SK fool you, she has it going on, but sometimes she hides that from some, but not from me.
