I know you can report spam p/m's, but is there a way to instal a mod that will auto ban spammers that send more than lets say 5 spam p/ms that get reported? This, coupled with a minimum 20 posts to initiate p/m convo would greatly deter spammers. The spammers that i HATE are the ones that look at a partnership p/m and send you a message about their firm that can help with SEO, design, and traffic and what is my budget? I've posted two threads in the last week or so regarding partnership or domains and each time I get that crap. I'm not asking for it, why are you offering it?! Thanks
We actually have a system that automatically bans PM spammers before someone even reports a PM. Search this forum for people complaining they can't send PMs and you will see them. If someone sends 50 spam PMs, we would be lucky to get 5 reported. So the automatic system that is in place is actually faster/less lenient than waiting for 5 people to report them.
