That would be a reliever :D
    Thanks for the clarification, Jude!

I think someone should write a complete guide on "how to be a good directory owner", or probably "How not to be a QBC". ;)

A QBC can be identified if he tries to sell the links of a directory which has no internal PR!

That's a good domain and infact related to a directory, plus you are doing good and work hard on it, So there's no question of you being a QBC.

PS.: Whom did you guy the domain from.. I think I know the domain , I seen it somewhere. ;)

If there is a decent promotion going on, I think the owner is generally NOT QBC.

iPod, your point is just too clear... and perhaps you are not among the QBC at all.... This is what i want to tell others, buying a dropped domain just doesn't makes you among the QBC at all as long as you are doing the necessary promotion and investing your time and money both to make it worth.

When I started Snoop Directory I had no internal PR and no homepage PR either for that matter. I sold links for $1.99...
Does that make me QBC as well??? Just for the record... I have made about 1/10 of what I put into it so far...

I think everyone is far too concerned with what others are doing. Some people should be more concerned with their own sites instead of bringing up what others do constantly.

But Im a newbie... what do I know...

I don't agree with this either, it can take up to, 2 full tool bar updates to get internal PR, why would I wait 6 months or more to sell links?

Indirectly it ALSO means selling links on a dropped domain with no PR on internal pages!!!

Well I’m not to sure about this tool; it’s telling me “Pagerank seems to be forged!” For “Seo Web Directory” in my signature; might be playing up because of the pending update.

It’s also showing the same for Idk.

    Just noticed this warning.....

Warning! Due to the High volume of traffic the tool is not always working properly! It still does show the page rank but does not always show if the page rank is faked. Please check the quantity of the back links as well as the history of the domain name in order to see if it is fake. If you see many google back links but 0(zero) or close to zero Yahoo and other Search Engines back links plus the domain has no history it means that the domain has 100% faked page rank.
    Sorry for any inconveniences!

    Thanks Brian
