A Pack of Pastries

I want to share a story which I read in a magazine.

One day a lady decided to wait in the rest room since the flight was delayed. She purchased
A small book, which she could read during the waiting hours. Along with the book, she also
Bought a pack of pastries and went to the V.I.P. room. She sat in a chair, took the book and
Began to read. As she was reading, she saw another gentleman who came and sat beside her,
he also with a book in his hand. She took one pastry and began to eat. The man also took one
pastry and had one. She felt disgusted that he didn’t even bother to ask her permission. She let go,
because she didn’t want to create a scene. She took another, and the man took too. She felt very
angry, but kept her calm. Again she took and the man took too. Finally when there was only one
pastry left, she waited to see what the man would do. He took the last pastry in hand, broke it in two,
gave one half to her and took the other half to himself. She felt very angry, and left the place
    forcefully.

She boarded the flight and made a way to her seat. After sitting, she removed her handbag and to
Her surprise, the pack of pastries was kept intact and unopened.

It was then that she realized, it was she who ate of that man’s pastry. Although she ate, he was
neither angry nor bitter towards her. In fact he even shared the last piece of pastry with her.
She felt ashamed she couldn’t even apologize.

YES THERE ARE 4 THINGS WE CAN’T TAKE BACK…….
    1. A stone once thrown
    2. Words, when once spoken
    3. Time, once lost
    4. An occasion once missed
