i just received a complaint from one of my ad spot buyer he one of the member here
dont want mention name ,he comaplainting he not getting good result from my ad spot
and he get angry so i try to be polite by refund him the money even after the adspot have been run for half a month i even let him pay later before i start the ad spot and he pay me a day ago and i refund him today,ok one thing maybe my price is high and he dont get the result i understand but hit rate is not under my control ,so here a few word for those who wish to buy banner spot pls understand that hit rate is not promise our ad spot we got our right to set our price it not like the ad spot rate must follow somekind of market rate and we never force you to buy the ad spot you got the final decision if u think the price is too high then think twice before you buy the ad spot before you start to get mad and complainting .pls respect us!
all ad spot buyer and seller will happy to hear your thought about my case

hope this the right place to post this

I agree that buyers take their chance when purchasing a spot. Sometimes it does well and other times it may not be a good ROI, which is why a buyer should always do a short term purchase first of maybe one month just to test it and then buy a longer term if it seems good.

I'd also like to point out that DP is a horrible place to buy ad spots, as there are far too many sellers removing banners and links before the time is up. I've lost track of the amount of times some douchebag has removed my ad a few days after taking my money. It's sickening that people are that sleazy, especially when you consider they're actually screwing themselves, since I usually buy very long term spots from good sellers, so that's long term money they're losing just for a few short term dollars.

It's very much "buyer beware" around here...

i do agree what u say so i alway will give my email to they in case they need to make any changes and it better to state clear when the ad spot will expire before payment done ,like whatyou say there are risk to deal directly so to prevent it you may consider buy ad spot from third party e.g bidvertise ,adbrite ...but some will prefer to deal directly so it depend on the buyer
