Thats correct, you cannot have adsense + another contextual link. But you can have other ads on the page of course.

It would be more beneficial for someone to just step in and say the person is wrong.

Hey perfect example, you're wrong; dead wrong. Adsense can be combined with other contextual ads as long as the other one permits it as well. They changed their ToS a couple of months ago. There, see how that works?

    I'll even include a source: http://www.jensense.com/archives/2007/01/its_official_yo.html

    Latest G TOS.

    Competitive Ads and Services

In order to prevent user confusion, we do not permit Google ads or search boxes to be published on websites that also contain other ads or services formatted to use the same layout and colors as the Google ads or search boxes on that site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads cannot be confused with Google ads.

As far as i change the layout and color, i'm not breaking the rules isn't it. Further more, the contextual ads is auto script i bought and nothing related to G competitor.

Your not allowed to say anything that may entice someone to click on your adsense advertisments.

Your only allowed phrases like "Advertisements" and "Sponsored Links".

Its similar to "if you want to support us, please click/check/visit our sponsors by clicking the following ads".

According to adsense terms its highly restricted and you account wil be banned from their network.

Moreover they bann not only your account, but your surename & name = its hard and almost impossible to sign up to adsense again in future:(

So, two answers would be good enough for you ??? One saying yes and one saying no. Then you would be sure of what to do right ? Good luck.

just make sure those words are place beside adsense but your banner. and better dont put any words say like "click our sponser links" or such. that should be ok. but i might be wrong though. I got the same thing on my site but i keep it away from adsense, i will tell you if i got banned
