    Good afternoon all!

I have recently started a couple of sites up and plonked some CJ affiliates on them and advertised the hell out of them with no success which brought me to the conclusion that i'm fighting in an already saturated market.

So where do i go from here? Everything i'm really passionate about is already saturated such as online gaming, cycling and poker. Should i browse through CJ's list of affiliates pick out one that looks tasty and work on it?

Sorry guys as i know you get this daily but i have no one else to turn to :(
I'd be happy with $5 a day if i could earn that through affiliates.
I'm so eager to learn it all but where do you start.

Thanks all and apologies for the noobness :D

You can browse thru the offers and look at the 7 day and 3 month earnings. You can spot ones that are rising in popularity b/c the 7 day will be higher than the 3 month. You could get into those now and they may not be too saturated yet. Or just look thru the offers and try to find ones that you could get interested in, maybe like vistaprint or hosting offers.

    best of luck.

What I like to do is find those 'saturated' niches and figure out if it's possible to focus on a 'sub' niche and get to a more granular level. For example, you mentioned gaming, but maybe there are some opportunities in 'console' gaming' or gaming accessories. Create a site on that sub niche and see if it shows promise. You're going to need to experiment to find different areas that could be under-promoted with good traffic.
