    Hi All,

As the title says, I am new to this forum and new to adsense. I have been reading on blocks and I am sooooooo confused. What exactly is a block? Is it different from a referral, adlink, search box ect. From what I have read I am afraid that I have too much google on my new site. Site isnt near to being done tho. This is my first site and I am building it just to learn adsense. Here in the link to one of the pages. This page has a typical amount of google ads that I have been using per page. I have a feeling there is too much google on it tho.

Any explanations and critiques would be very helpful. I would also like to know what a block is. Is this Adlink, Referals, Search Box,

A block is just the square AdSense code, and yes it is different from the search and the referral

No, you are doing fine, you can have 3 text ads, and 1 Adlinks all on 1 page.

Also I suggest you change your site font to something else, maybe try tahoma.

On this page: http://www.coolgraphiclinks.com/websets.htm you have to many ad's showing.

Thanks. Let me see if I got this right. A "block" are the text ads that have 2 to 5 text ads listed together. An Adlink has the "image" ads. Referrals you are allowed to have 1 with 3 blocks.

If I got this right then a page can have:
    3 block ads
    1 referral ad
    1 search ad.

For a total of 5. As long as all 5 aren't blocks. WHEW.

    Ad Placement
AdSense offers a number of ad formats and advertising products. Publishers are encouraged to experiment with a variety of placements, provided the following policies are respected:

Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.
A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
Up to three link units may also be placed on each page.
Up to three referral units may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above.
AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results. No other ads may be displayed on your search results page.
No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed in a pop-up, pop-under, or in an email.
Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads.
No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages.
No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.
    Competitive Ads and Services
In order to prevent user confusion, we do not permit Google ads or search boxes to be published on websites that also contain other ads or services formatted to use the same layout and colors as the Google ads or search boxes on that site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads cannot be confused with Google ads.

    Product-Specific Policies
Some AdSense products have additional policies that apply specifically to their use. Please review them in full if you use the products listed below.
