You may have read about this in link exchanges, but I have added another option, and want to get some feedback for my idea. A few days ago I started a fairly big proxy network. I decided that one of the domains would be used for something different though. I have created the fairest system possible to add your site to and grow traffic - here is how it works: you PM me your proxy URL, with a link to http://ultrapass.info (anchor text "UltraPass.info" OR "Random Proxy"). The link must be prominent - see cutchains.info for what I mean. I will then add you to the list of random proxies on ultrapass. There are no favourites - you cannot pay to be at the top, and it is 100% random. I will limit the total number of listed proxies to 100. That means that for any click on the link, there is a 1% chance of your site being the one it goes to. This is a FREE offer - all I need is a link to the site. Furthermore, the more it is promoted, the more traffic the members sites will get as a whole. I have been myspace bulletin-ing, etc. Anything you do to promote it would be appreciated. Interested? no, if you look at the page (ultrapass.info), you will see that it is only there for a microsecond before being redirected to the random site. Here is how I benefit: I have 37 sites in the file. That leaves 63 empty (I'm limiting it to 100). That means that there is a 37% chance of my site loading, and thats good enough for me. That said, one person could link to the site from 63 of their proxies, then they would receive 63% of the visits. Its a pretty good offer, I basically want to see how well it works. One of the biggest benefits is that rather than one person marketing their XX domains, you can have many people, all promoting one domain. In theory, it sounds excellent, I want to see how it goes in practice
Ok, I haven't had much of a response yet... I've only added a few proxies. If you own a proxy, click the link and see what happens. It goes straight to a random proxy - no ads from me, nothing. This effectively means that 1% of the time (about 3% at the moment), ultrapass.info points straight to you. Please try it? You stand to benefit as much as I do. Its been up for three days, and is actually already getting some traffic - mostly from the proxies which have a link to it, but also a few typeins.
I've added everyone who has contacted me. There are ~40 spots left. Traffic was 100+ uniques for the past 2 days. Ready to add more if people are interested...
down to 35 spots remaining. Traffic is growing by the day, plus ultrapass has not been blocked by some schools that it has been used in (I have sources). Normally when my sister is on a proxy at school it is blocked while being used - ultrapass has been used over and over, without being blocked! You've got nothing to lose
