A new style and web platform for old site!

Finally, i have changed my websites design from the old one.

I need opinions on how it looks. I am aware the font doesn't fit in the logo.

It is using a CMS called dragonfly.

Looks pretty well designed and organized, good color scheme, loads fast. I would make the text size for the main area somewhat larger.

Also, I tested the links on the header and got several "flood protection warnings", though I'm aware that you're not finished with the site.

 

Flood protection warnings? Can you copy and paste them here? I havnt a clue what it is!

Loads fast, images don't look clear enough, logo is too pixelated.

just from visiting the home page.

 

ahahahaha, wtf. PM me your IP address, and lemme try and figure this out.. I havnt authorized any banning of any IP address's.

Well. I think you should change your font size under Information on services. Make it smaller. Also, your sidebar head images (http://www.robertall.com/themes/PH2_Blue/images/block_left_header.gif) doesn't match the content ones. Though I prefer the look of the sidebar ones.

The logo needs some work.

Other than that, everything is good.

 

It appears the security system buggered up. Did you refresh the page constantly or browse the site really fast?

Yes, I was browsing pretty quickly, wanted to check to see if the links underneath the header were working.

 

That is probably why. It has automatic protection against spam bots and spiders who ignore robots.txt.

Hi Rob

Definitely needs a new logo, that one looks far too amateurish for a web design company. Your using phpNuke aren't you which is ok when your just starting out but a web design company should be able to create a site from scratch and not rely on a content management system. Your own site should be the best advertisement for your designs.

I didn't get any errors and I think that you have done a great job creating the graphics (apart from Logo). Good luck and keep at it, there's plenty of trade out there creating sites for small businesses and individuals especially in Cornwall.

 

Thanks for the review cyb3r, i have just done some extra work on the site, and i think it will not be finished soon, because it is a big project.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

ps: dont browse too fast or the flood-protection will ban your IP address.

 

I like the site i've seen the template befor. Looks good on that site.

 

I attempted to put the security back up. My mate got banned as well. I also refreshed the page constantly in IE, and i banned myself, and had to visit the database to unban myself. Obviously its too sensitive, so i have disabled it for good.

In Firefox, the sidebar with login form seems like out of alignment.

I used to be a telemarketer. I catch my clients attention with what I have for them, not with my long introduction. And you're using too much space and yet, you're font is too small. Whats up with that..?

 

It is because i am explaining in detail what the service is about, and it isn't a introduction.
